“Lord, Strengthen My Hands.”

I feel like this is a timely prayer for so many people who are in a position of leadership or in a season of transition. Nehemiah prayed this in Nehemiah 6:9 as he was facing resistance from almost every side while pursuing the seemingly impossible task of rebuilding the broken walls of Jerusalem.

He asked God to strengthen his hands so that he could continue the work he was called to do.  God came through and as a result the walls were rebuilt.  If you are going through a time where opposition is pressing down on you and there seems to be no way out, take the time to remove yourself from what your doing, seek a quiet place, and ask God for the strength to overcome.

When we pray for strength, God always answers.
